Use Akadyo in Claude or ChatGPT

Akadyo connects to Claude and ChatGPT through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Once connected, your assistant can write a course for you and save it to your Akadyo account, then teach it to you lesson by lesson, while Akadyo keeps the course, grades its checkpoints and records your progress.

The assistant does all the AI work, on its own model. None of Akadyo's tools calls an AI model, so Akadyo uses no AI of its own when you work this way, and it charges you nothing for it.

Your courses and progress are the same ones you see at akadyo.app: a course your assistant writes appears on your Akadyo desk, and a lesson you finish in the assistant is finished in the app too.

You need an Akadyo account. You sign in with a one-time link we email you or with Google; there is no password. You can make one at akadyo.app.

Akadyo's address for AI apps is https://api.akadyo.app/api/mcp/akadyo. The Connect page in the app shows the same address with a copy button, and the setup for Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code as well.

1. On claude.ai or in Claude Desktop, open Customize, then Connectors.
2. Choose +, then Add custom connector, and paste Akadyo's address.
3. Choose Connect. Claude opens Akadyo: sign in if you are not already, then choose Allow.

Once added, it also works in Claude's mobile apps. Claude's free plan allows one custom connector.

1. In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings, then Security and login, and turn on Developer mode.
2. Go to Plugins, choose +, and create an app with Akadyo's address. Pick OAuth for authentication.
3. When ChatGPT asks, sign in to Akadyo and choose Allow.

Ask in your own words. For example:

• “Build me an Akadyo course on sourdough baking. I have 20 minutes a day.”
• “Tutor me through my next Akadyo lesson.”
• “How far am I in my Akadyo courses?”

Akadyo also offers two ready-made prompts, where your app shows prompts: Build a course (a topic, and optionally your goal, what you already know and your minutes a day) and Tutor me through a lesson.

Your assistant picks these itself; you never call them by name. To write a course:

• create_course_outline: starts a new private draft course from the assistant's outline: title, description, modules and lessons.
• write_lesson: saves one lesson's text and, optionally, its checkpoint questions, suggested videos and a photo. Writing a lesson again replaces it.
• publish_course: puts the finished course on your desk, enrols you in it and returns its link.

To study:

• browse_courses: lists your courses, with whether you are enrolled and how far along you are.
• get_course_details: shows one course's modules and lessons.
• get_my_enrollments: lists the courses you are enrolled in, with your progress.
• enroll_in_course: enrols you in a course.
• start_lesson: records that you have started a lesson.
• get_lesson_content: reads a lesson's text, for the assistant to teach from.
• get_quiz: reads one checkpoint question, without its answer.
• submit_quiz_answer: sends your checkpoint answers for grading and records the attempt.
• complete_lesson: marks a lesson complete and returns your updated progress.
• get_course_progress: shows your progress in one course.

The study tools only read your courses or add to your own learning record. Every tool works on the Akadyo account you signed in with, and no other.

You can see every AI app connected to your account, and revoke any of them, on the Connect page. Removing the connector inside Claude or ChatGPT alone does not revoke its access to Akadyo, so revoke it there as well.
